My little brother is a passionate chess player and he wanted a chess set for a gift. So it led me to search online for a relatively higher-end chess set. Also, the general opinion around them was quite favourable so took the plunge and bought a great large-sized chess set (20 inches)

The quality of the chess pieces I recieved are on par with other well regarded brands of luxury chess pieces. And that's for half the price! I never thought I would own a decent replica of the Dubrovnik 1950 chess pieces, but Royal Chess Mall made this possible with their affordable excellent replica. Shipping was also fast. Thanks.

Bought the Sinquefield set in mid-Dec. Delivery was fast and packaging was very good. Unfortunately two of the pieces shouldn’t have passed quality control - customer service communication was generally quite good, but it took multiple emails, a first replacement shipment that ‘got lost’ and a second replacement shipment that took a further fortnight to arrive in the UK….so almost a month to receive the replacement pieces. Like most other reviews have noted, the quality of the board, the pieces and storage case is excellent. I would buy from the company again, it’s just a shame that the overall experience wasn’t great.

I have had a fantastic experience buying from Royal Chess Mall. Was recommended this company by one of my friends who had purchased a Staunton chess set combo from them.
I myself purchased a relatively high end chess set with pieces, chess board and the box.
Was thoroughly impressed by the speed of delivery , packaging. It took quite some time to unwrap all the staff as it was packaged to make sure nothing broke.
The complete set was a marvel and fully justifying the high price quoted.
The pieces and the board had a very smooth finish and beautiful shine.
The chess pieces all had great precise craftsmanship which is difficult for a handmade chess set.
I would highly recommend them on the basis of my experience with them and their communication and service.

Fast delivery and great packaging. Craftsmanship is excellent, some highlights are: triple weighted pieces which look perfectly symmetrical. The boxwood used for the white pieces is beautiful with delicate wood grain. The knights are masterfully carved. I would have preferred baize felt at the bottom. Finally, the value of this set is outstanding.There really is no contest here. Overall - 9.5/10. I will definitely be buying from Royal Chess Mall again and thoroughly recommend them based on this set.

First time buyer from RCM. Was impressed with the quality and design of their chess pieces but didn't want to spend too much so I bought a slightly imperfect set to start. It's perfect for me and amazing quality. The imperfections are so minor. I love it so much. Great job. Chess set was sent 13,000 miles from India to Virginia, USA , IN 5 DAYS. INCREDIBLE! In perfect condition. Very reasonable price. The quality is unmatched. I got their Updated Dubrovnik in Mahogany with Rosewood Chess Board and coffer box combo. The products are definitely of high quality . The Dubrovnik knights are definitely very accurate and have been carefully crafted. The Mahagony staining is also well done in my opinion. Have received many compliments from my chess friends. The chess set was delivered down under to New Zealand in 7 days via Fedex and shipping was free. The price was also reasonable keeping in view the quality.

Recently bought for my husband a luxury chess set combo by the name of Alexandria Chess Set in Ebony Wood. The chess set is very beautiful and elegant to look at. My husband is a passionate player and has quite a few chess sets in his collection. He knows quality when he sees it. He was most impressed with the intricate carving and beautiful finish on the chess set. The accompanying board in Ebony was also well constructed. All in all highly satifactory.

Purchased a wonderful chess set from Royal Chess Mall, one of several of their many fine products obtained this year. Item was inadvertantly delayed by FedEx in delivery. RCM contacted FedEx and product was delivered over 1,000 kilometers in just six hrs. RCM works very hard to ensure customer satisfaction, not just with quality products but also with quality customer service.

Another good experience buying from royal chess mall. I feel the knights in this set are not up to RCM usual standards though, hence the 3 stars. I had one knight replaced by the very accommodating after sales team. Excellent pieces all round in this set , knights aside and it hasn't stopped me ordering again!

Recommend sortable pieces by square size. Also, square size of red/white boxwood mogul does not match that recommended for other materials of same size. Also box billed as 3” - 4” pieces seems unnecessarily big and heavy for my 3.1”peces. Pieces and boards are fantastic

I was a little dubious buying an imperfect set from you. The slightly imperfect 1950 Dubrovnik was actually better than I expected! The rooks were the original 1950 Dubrovnik design (which I prefer) and the rest were the Fisher Dubrovnik II style. I could hardly tell a slight color difference on a white pawn, with my eyes, in normal light (color differences only appear with a flash, in a photo). They were also pleasingly much heavier and perfectly balanced than I expected. I am very happy with the set... beautiful craftsmanship. I will look for your full original 1950 reproduction, in another color, in the future. Thank you!
